HVAC & HOME SERVICES · INDUSTRY KIT

Built for the no-heat call.

A website kit for HVAC and home-service contractors: service-area pages, a 24/7 emergency call path, seasonal campaigns, rebate and financing explainers, lead alerts, a reviews routine that follows Google’s rules, and a 90-day copy of every lead. Built on the same hardened stack as every RedactLabs site.

WHY IT MATTERS

The lead is the job.

A homeowner with no heat will often call whoever picks up first. Contractor sites lose that moment in small ways: a phone number buried in the footer, a form that emails one inbox and hopes, service areas that exist only as a list of town names, a rebate page nobody has touched since it was written.

This kit is the set of pages and back-end pieces we build so the site does its one job — turning a visit into a booked call — and keeps doing it when something upstream breaks.

WHAT’S IN THE KIT

FOUND LOCALLY

Found

Show up in the towns you actually serve.

Pages built around how homeowners look for help: by town, by problem, by season.

  • Service-area pages

One page for each town or neighbourhood you serve, with the services, hours and contact path for that area. Built from what you actually do there, not a template with the town name swapped in.

  • Seasonal campaigns

Furnace tune-ups before the first cold snap, air-conditioning checks before the first heat wave: landing pages and home-page banners prepared in advance and switched on and off by date.

  • Rebate & financing explainers

Plain-language blocks on the rebates and financing you offer. Each one carries an as-of date and links to the program’s own page, so an expired offer never sits on the site looking current.

THE CALL

Called

When the heat is out, the phone number is the whole website.

A call path that works on a phone at 2 a.m., and a form that answers back.

  • 24/7 emergency call path

A tap-to-call emergency number that stays on screen on every mobile page, with your after-hours arrangement stated plainly. We build the path; you decide who answers it.

  • Owner alert

Each request goes to your inbox as soon as it is accepted, with the customer’s address set as the reply-to, so answering is one tap.

  • Customer acknowledgement

The customer gets a short email confirming the request arrived and saying what happens next, so nobody is left wondering whether it went through.

NOTHING LOST

Kept

An email outage should cost you an hour, not a customer.

The safety net we already run on two contractor sites, and a reviews routine you can use after every job.

  • 90-day lead safety net

Every accepted request is written to durable storage for 90 days, alongside the email. If email delivery fails, the request is still there to read back; if both fail, the visitor is told to try again instead of seeing a false “sent”. The copy keeps the request, not the visitor’s IP address.

  • Reviews routine

A short review link that opens your Google review form, and one message you send after every completed job — to every customer, with nothing offered in return. Google’s Maps policy bans rewards for reviews, asking only happy customers, and asking staff to collect a set number of reviews; the routine is built so none of that happens.

THE DELIVERABLE

One build, kept running.

  1. Kit build

Everything above, delivered as a fixed-fee Secure Website Build: the same hardened stack, security headers and WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility target as every site we ship.

  2. Seasonal switch-overs

Campaign pages and banners scheduled by date. On Website Care+ or higher, we update them with you each season as part of monthly content edits.

  3. Lead read-back

If email ever fails, we read the stored requests back to you from the 90-day copy, using a recovery runbook we already maintain.

The kit builds on the published Secure Website Build (from $6,900 CAD) and a Website Care plan (from $149 CAD/mo). Kit price: from $8,900 CAD. The 90-day safety net went live on two Ontario HVAC contractors’ sites in September 2026: Air Comfort Mechanical and Supra Heating & Air.

WHAT WE DON’T PROMISE

Plain limits.

  1. Rankings

We build pages that search engines and AI assistants can read. We don’t promise positions; nobody honest can.

  2. Answering the phone

The emergency path gets the call to you. Who answers it, and when, is yours to set.

  3. Rebate terms

Programs change. The explainer blocks carry dates and link to the source; the program itself decides who qualifies.
