30-minute call

Free, no commitment. We listen to the problem in your own words, ask the questions a senior engineer would ask on day one, and frame what a scoped engagement would look like. If you are not a fit for us, we say so on the call.

Scope

Fixed-fee proposal

A written proposal with concrete deliverables, the named senior engineer, a committed timeline, and one price. No retainer minimums hidden in fine print, no per-hour scope creep. You see and agree to the number before signature.

Deliver

Senior execution

The engineer who scoped delivers the work. You have their direct contact, not a ticketing-system address. We provide weekly status updates by default and end every engagement with a written closeout document.

Sustain

Ongoing posture

For managed retainers, we run quarterly business reviews against the maturity targets we set during scope. For one-off projects, we hand off documentation a successor team can read in an afternoon. Nothing tribal, nothing locked in our heads.

  • Resell tools we earn referral fees on without disclosing it
  • Run scope creep mid-engagement — change orders are written
  • Hide behind a ticketing portal between the work and the engineer
Engagement mechanics

Questions, answered.

Do you charge for the discovery call?

No. The 30-minute discovery call and any subsequent scoping conversations are free. We do not bill scoping time and we do not commit a price until we can defend it.

What does a fixed-fee proposal include?

A concrete list of deliverables, the named senior engineer who will lead the work, a committed timeline, and a single price. We do not hide rate cards in appendices and we do not bill by the hour for delivery.

What happens if the scope changes mid-engagement?

We absorb small changes within the original fee. Material changes get a written change order — a new fixed-fee scope you approve before any new work starts. We do not run scope creep.

Will I work with the same engineer through delivery?

Yes. The senior engineer who scoped your engagement leads delivery. We do not run a sales-team-to-delivery-team handoff and we do not staff junior engineers as primary delivery on managed retainers.
