MASJIDS & NONPROFITS · INDUSTRY KIT

# Prayer times that keep themselves current.

A website kit for masjids and community nonprofits: a prayer timetable that refreshes on a schedule, a donations page built around donors’ questions, events, a Ramadan mode, Arabic and other right-to-left text set properly, and accessibility from the first commit. Registered charities and places of worship get 20% off any recurring plan.

WHY IT MATTERS

## Run by volunteers. Read by everyone.

Many masjid and nonprofit websites are kept alive by one volunteer. When that volunteer is busy, the prayer times drift, last year’s Eid notice stays up, and the donate button points at a form nobody has tested. The congregation notices first; donors notice next.

This kit takes the routine work off the volunteer. The timetable recalculates on a schedule, and seasonal pages switch on and off by date. What is left for people is the writing only they can do.

THE TIMETABLE

### Times

The timetable is the page people open every day.

Calculated for your location and method, twelve months at a time, with no outside feed to fail.

- Automated prayer-times refresh · A scheduled job recalculates a rolling twelve-month athan calendar on the first of every month, from your coordinates, your calculation method (for example ISNA) and your Asr convention (Standard or Hanafi). There is no third-party feed, so there is no outside service to go down. We already run this for a masjid client.
- Iqamah & Jumu’ah · Calculated athan times and your congregational times are shown separately. Iqamah and Jumu’ah times stay yours to set.
- Hijri dates · Calendar-calculated Hijri dates, labelled as calculated: a local moon sighting can differ by a day, and the page says so.

GIVING

### Giving

Donors give where they can see how the money is handled.

A donations page that answers the questions donors ask before they give.

- Donations page · One clear page for one-time and monthly giving, routed to the payment or giving platform you already use, and tested end to end before launch.
- Donor-trust signals · Your charity registration number, where the money goes, how receipts are issued, and who to contact with a question, all on the page. Donors can look you up on the CRA’s public List of charities.

SEASONS & EVENTS

### Seasons

The busiest month of the year should be the easiest to publish.

Events and seasonal pages that switch on and off by date, not by memory.

- Events · An events list built from simple entries — title, date, place, registration link — that you edit in the optional content studio, or send to us on Website Care+ or higher.
- Ramadan mode · A seasonal layout switched on by date: suhoor and iftar times up front (the day’s Fajr and Maghrib, from the same timetable), the Taraweeh schedule, and Eid prayer announcements, then switched off after Eid.

ACCESS

### Access

Everyone who reads the timetable should be able to use it.

Language and accessibility handled in the build, not bolted on later.

- Multilingual & right-to-left · Arabic, Urdu and other right-to-left text marked up with the correct language and direction, so browsers and screen readers handle it inside English pages; full pages in a second language when your community needs them.
- Accessibility · Built to WCAG 2.2 AA, the target on every site we ship: keyboard access, readable contrast, and timetables published as real text rather than images, so screen readers can read them.

## THE DELIVERABLE

One build, less volunteer time.

- Kit build · Everything above as a fixed-fee Secure Website Build on our hardened stack, with the same security headers and accessibility target as every site we ship.
- Monthly refresh · The timetable job runs on the first of every month; we watch it and publish the refreshed calendar.
- Seasonal switch-overs · Ramadan mode and event pages prepared ahead and switched by date. On Website Care+ or higher, we prepare them with you as part of monthly content edits.

Website Care plans run from $149 CAD/mo. Registered charities and places of worship receive 20% off any recurring plan. Kit price: $4,720 CAD at the community rate for registered charities and places of worship (list $5,900 CAD). The prayer-times refresh already runs for a masjid client.

## WHAT WE DON’T PROMISE

Plain limits.

- Moon sighting · Calculated times and dates are calculations. Where your community follows a local sighting or a council announcement, the site shows what you announce.
- Receipts · Official donation receipts come from your office or your giving platform, not the website. The page explains the process; it doesn’t issue receipts.
- Translation · We set each language up correctly. The words come from you or a translator you trust; we don’t machine-translate religious or legal text.
