# A cadence that respects your time.

Four steps, from first email to ongoing posture. One cadence across cybersecurity, IT, and websites. The Sentinel™ method runs underneath it.

## COMMITMENTS

- **Discovery is free.** Thirty minutes. No charge, no commitment.
- **Scope is fixed-fee.** One number, agreed before signature.
- **Delivery is senior.** The engineer who scoped is the engineer who builds.
- **Sustainment is structured.** Quarterly reviews. Never silent.

## THE CADENCE

- Discovery · 30-minute call · A senior engineer listens and frames the scope. No charge. No commitment.
- Scope · Fixed-fee proposal · A written proposal: concrete deliverables, the named engineer, a committed timeline, a single price.
- Deliver · Senior execution · The named senior engineer executes the work. Direct contact. Weekly status.
- Sustain · Ongoing posture · Quarterly business reviews on retainers. A documentation and runbook handoff on one-off projects.

## THE CONTRACT

### What you get

- A named senior engineer as your primary contact.
- A fixed-fee scope, agreed in writing before any delivery.
- Weekly status during delivery; quarterly during sustainment.
- A written closeout document and runbook on every engagement.
- Compliance mapping to NIST CSF 2.0, CIS Controls, and CyberSecure Canada.
- Vendor-neutral tool recommendations. No kickbacks.

### What we don't do

- Hand delivery to a junior engineer after sign-off.
- Bill by the hour for delivery on fixed-fee scopes.
- Lock you into multi-year or auto-renewing contracts.
- Resell tools we earn referral fees on without disclosing it.
- Run scope creep. Material changes are written change orders.
- Hide behind a ticketing portal between you and the engineer.

## QUESTIONS

- **Do you charge for the discovery call?**: No. The 30-minute discovery call and any scoping that follows are free. We do not bill scoping time, and we do not commit a price until we can defend it.
- **What does a fixed-fee proposal include?**: A concrete list of deliverables, the named senior engineer who leads the work, a committed timeline, and a single price. No rate cards buried in appendices. No hourly billing for delivery.
- **What happens if the scope changes mid-engagement?**: Small changes are absorbed within the original fee. Material changes get a written change order — a new fixed-fee scope you approve before any new work begins.
- **Will I work with the same engineer through delivery?**: Yes. The senior engineer who scoped the engagement leads delivery. No sales-to-delivery handoff. No junior engineer as primary on a managed retainer.
